A Birkin 25 in Bai Brun Togo with gold hardware, blind stamp G for 2026, from JULL's own stock in London. The bag is store fresh: never carried, with the protective felt still in place under the flap and the full set with it. It is the smallest Birkin that still works as an everyday bag, and in this colour it is one of the easiest to wear. Bai Brun is one of the house's newer browns. The name comes from the French word for a bay horse, the deep reddish-brown coat that Hermès, a harness-maker before it was anything else, has always known well. On the bag it reads as a dark chocolate: close to black in a dim room, clearly brown in daylight. That is why clients who wear a lot of black choose it. It sits with black, navy, camel and grey without fighting any of them. Gold hardware draws out the warmth in the leather; where palladium would make it cooler and stricter, gold makes it softer and more classic. Togo is the leather the Birkin is usually imagined in: calfskin with a pronounced, even grain that resists scratches and keeps its shape without the stiffness of Epsom. On a 25 it gives the body a slight softness while the handles stay firm, and the grain hides daily handling well, which matters on the size that gets used most. The Birkin 25 holds a phone, a card holder, keys, sunglasses and a small pouch. It is carried by hand or on the forearm, with the straps left open for a looser look or closed over the turnlock for a cleaner one. This piece can be seen at the Chelsea Harbour showroom seven days a week by appointment, or reserved with a deposit and collected or delivered insured within the UK.
