Terms of Sale

Updated 19 September 2026

Every piece at JULL is one piece. These are the rules of buying it — short, because there is nothing to hide, and in plain English, because a purchase of this size deserves to be understood before it is made.

1. Who you are buying from

These terms apply to every purchase from BY JULL LTD, trading as JULL — a company registered in England and Wales under number 17144844, with its registered office at 255–261 Horn Lane, London W3 9EH. Where a listing says a piece is consigned, JULL sells it as agent for its owner; JULL still inspects, authenticates, invoices and delivers the piece, and every promise on this page applies in full. JULL is an independent specialist and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or in any way associated with Hermès.

2. The piece

Each listing describes a single, individually priced item: model, size, leather, colour, hardware, blind stamp where visible, and a condition grade on our five-step scale (Store Fresh · Unworn · Pristine · Excellent · Good) with notes on any wear. Photographs are of the actual piece. Before you commit we will send further photographs or a video, or show the piece at our Chelsea Harbour showroom by appointment. Please ask everything first; we would rather answer ten questions before a sale than one after it.

3. Prices

Prices are in pounds sterling and are the price of the piece; there is no buyer's premium. Delivery, where you choose it, is quoted separately with the piece; collection from the showroom is free. A piece stays on sale, and its price can change, until a deposit or the full price has been paid — we do not hold a piece on a promise.

4. Reserving a piece

A reservation is a deposit of 25% of the price. It takes the piece off sale for up to five days, during which the balance is paid. The deposit is credited in full against the price.

Where the page offers a card or Apple Pay deposit, that payment is the first part of the reservation deposit; any remainder up to 25% is paid by bank transfer against our invoice within 24 hours, otherwise the reservation lapses and the card payment is returned. If the balance is not received within five days of the reservation and we have not agreed an extension in writing, the reservation ends and the piece returns to sale.

A reservation deposit is not refundable if you change your mind. Taking a piece off sale means turning away other buyers for those days, and the deposit is the price of that certainty. It is refunded in full if we are unable to complete the sale for a reason on our side, or if the piece is shown not to be authentic under our Refund Policy.

5. Paying in full

You may also pay the full price at once, by card where the page offers it or by bank transfer against our invoice. The piece is yours when the funds have cleared in our account. We do not accept cash, cryptocurrency or payment from anyone other than the buyer named on the invoice.

6. Collection and delivery

Most pieces are collected in person at the showroom, by appointment, which is also the simplest way to avoid duties when you are travelling home with the piece. Within the UK we deliver by insured, tracked next-day courier. Delivery outside the UK is arranged individually for each country: we can organise an insured courier for a fee quoted in advance, and any import duties, taxes or customs charges at the destination are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in our price.

The piece is insured by us until it is handed to you, or signed for at the address you gave us; from that moment risk passes to you. Title passes when we have received payment in full.

7. Authenticity

We guarantee that every piece we sell is authentic Hermès. If a piece is ever shown not to be, under the procedure in our Refund Policy, we refund the full price. The guarantee is personal to the buyer and does not transfer with the piece.

8. Once the sale is complete

Because every piece is unique and individually priced, sales are final once completed, as our Refund Policy explains. Nothing on this page limits any right you have as a consumer under the law of England and Wales.

9. If something is not as described

Tell us within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs, and we will put it right — by repair, by replacement where one exists, or by refund. Claims about authenticity follow the Refund Policy procedure.

10. Sourced pieces

When we source a piece for you (see Sourcing), the price on the page is the price you pay. We confirm availability, colour and size before taking any payment, and payment is taken only once the piece is in hand and photographed for you.
