A Birkin 25 Cargo in a two-material combination of Toile and Swift, rendered in Paille and Biscuit with palladium hardware. It arrives unworn, carrying a G 2026 stamp. The Cargo variant introduced a quiet but significant amendment to one of the most considered silhouettes in French leatherwork: a structured external pocket sits at the front, secured independently, adding function without displacing the bag's proportions. At 25 centimetres — the smallest expression of the Birkin — the Cargo reads less as a working bag and more as a precise, deliberate object. It is the format chosen by someone who knows exactly what they need and wants no excess around it. Paille is a harvest yellow — the word is French for straw — warm rather than sharp, closer to dried grass in late summer than to anything citrus. Biscuit sits beside it as a pale, baked neutral: slightly toasted, faintly golden. Together they move in the same tonal register without being identical, one note stepping back as the other leads depending on the light. The pairing of matte Toile canvas and the smooth, tight grain of Swift gives the two colours different surfaces to occupy, which keeps the combination from reading as a single flat field. The palladium hardware — cool and bright against the warm ground — provides the single point of contrast. This piece has been inspected by hand in our London workroom and verified with Entrupy.
