Hermès Birkin 25 in Vert d'Eau Swift leather with palladium hardware. Store fresh, with the G blind stamp of 2026. Vert d'Eau means "water green", and the name fits. It is a pale, cool green with a trace of grey-blue, closer to sea glass than to mint. The shade shifts with the light: almost duck-egg on a grey London morning, softer and greener in warm evening light. That range is why it sits so easily with cream, camel, denim, navy and black. Beside Menthe it is quieter and greyer; beside Vert Amande it is cooler and carries no yellow. Palladium keeps the whole bag in one cool register: the silver-tone turnlock, clochette, padlock and keys echo the leather rather than compete with it, and the stitching is tonal throughout. Swift is a smooth calfskin with a very fine grain and a soft, satin finish. It takes dye more deeply than grained leathers, so a pale colour like Vert d'Eau looks luminous rather than chalky. It is also one of the lightest leathers Hermès uses for the Birkin, and it gives the 25 a slightly softer line than Togo or Epsom while still holding its shape well at this size. Swift shows fine surface marks more readily than a grained leather; most ease out with a clean fingertip, and we are glad to show you how to look after it when you collect. The Birkin 25 measures approximately 25 × 20 × 13 cm. It takes a phone, a card holder or compact wallet, keys, sunglasses and a lipstick, carried by the handles or in the crook of the arm. It is small enough for an evening and practical enough for every day. This piece is store fresh: unworn, with the protective felt still in place around the strap and turnlock, and the G stamp for 2026.
