The H clasp that Catherine Chaillet drew for the Constance in 1969 has since become one of the most recognised signatures in leather goods; the Constance Slim borrows it for the smallest canvas of all — a wallet. This example pairs Black Epsom with rose gold hardware, the warmest and scarcest of the house's standard finishes. Against black, rose gold behaves like candlelight: softer than yellow gold, more intimate than palladium, and instantly identifiable to those who know the difference. It is the finish for people who wear their watches on leather straps and their gold quietly. Epsom is the correct leather for an object handled a dozen times a day — pressed, fine-grained, nearly immune to scratches, holding its slim profile for years. Inside, card slots and a zipped pocket order the essentials; a clever loop lets the wallet ride on a belt, turning it into the house's most discreet hands-free carry. It is Hermès at wallet scale with none of the compromise: the same hand-finished clasp, the same saddle-stitched edges as the full Constance.
