This is one of the more considered expressions of the format — a special order construction that pairs two distinct colours across its outer and inner-facing panels, giving the bag a different character depending on how it is held or set down. G stamp, brand new condition. At twenty centimetres, the Kelly sits at the compact end of the house's range for this silhouette — small enough to carry through an evening without effort, structured enough to read as a serious piece in any context. The HSS Verso designation marks it as a made-to-order variation, produced outside the standard run, which accounts for the two-tone build. It is the version reached for by someone who knows the Kelly well and wants something beyond the obvious reading of it. Black Epsom is the steadier of the two colours here — a dense, matte near-black that this leather carries particularly well, given how crisply Epsom holds its surface and resists marking. Bordeaux on the Verso panels is a deep, wine-red with a slight warmth to it, more burgundy in low light, and it reads against the black as contrast rather than decoration. Together they create something that shifts register without announcing itself. The palladium hardware — bright, cool-toned — is a considered match for both colours, neither pulling towards warmth nor competing with the depth of the Bordeaux.
