Hermès named this smallest rigid Kelly the 20, and it arrives here in Argentée with palladium hardware and a K blind stamp (2026 receipt). It is brand new. Within the Kelly lineage — a silhouette that has been in continuous production since the 1930s — the 20 occupies a specific and deliberate position. It is not a miniaturised novelty but a considered object: structured enough to stand on its own, compact enough to move without effort through an evening or a considered daytime errand. Those who reach for it tend to value formality that does not insist on itself. Argentée sits at the cooler end of the metallic spectrum — a pale, luminous silver that reads differently from chrome or pewter. On Hermès leather, the colour has a softness that a harder finish would not allow. In certain light it appears almost ivory; in direct sun it brightens to a clean, icy silver. The combination is rarely encountered and, for that reason, particular. The palladium hardware — tone-on-tone with the leather — keeps the composition coherent rather than contrasted. This piece is held at JULL and available for private viewing by appointment at our Chelsea Harbour showroom.
