Hermès named this smallest rigid Kelly the 20, and it arrives here in Argentée on K 2026 leather with palladium hardware. It is brand new. Within the Kelly lineage — a silhouette that has been in continuous production since the 1930s — the 20 occupies a specific and deliberate position. It is not a miniaturised novelty but a considered object: structured enough to stand on its own, compact enough to move without effort through an evening or a considered daytime errand. Those who reach for it tend to value formality that does not insist on itself. Argentée sits at the cooler end of the metallic spectrum — a pale, luminous silver that reads differently from chrome or pewter. On K 2026, Hermès's swift-tanned leather known for its fine, even grain and slight sheen, the colour has a softness that a harder finish would not allow.
