- Reserve. £3,000 by card or Apple Pay takes the piece off the market and holds it for five days.
- Check it any way you like. Every piece is inspected by hand and verified with Entrupy; you are welcome to have it examined by an independent authenticator of your choice before the balance is paid.
- Balance and handover. Bank transfer against a BY JULL LTD invoice, then collection in Chelsea Harbour or insured next-day UK delivery. Outside the UK: DHL Express, fully insured, quoted per country; import duties and taxes are the buyer's.

A Chanel Maxi Flap in black grained calfskin with gold-tone hardware — a combination that accounts, in some form, for a significant proportion of everything the house has ever made, and yet remains exactly right. This example is unworn. Within the Flap family, the Maxi occupies its own register. At 38.5 centimetres, it is the format that absorbs a full day's contents without concession: a tablet, a clutch wallet, whatever else accumulates between morning and evening. It is not a bag for minimalists. It is a bag for people who use their bags, and who prefer that the silhouette stay composed while they do. The double-flap construction and the turn-lock closure give it structure; the chain carries over the shoulder with a weight that is present but not burdensome. It sits closer to a working wardrobe than to an occasion one. Black on grained calfskin is a different proposition to black on lambskin. The grain catches light unevenly — there is texture in it, a slight resistance — which means the surface reads as solid and confident rather than reflective. It does not show the small marks that a softer skin would. Over time, grained calfskin tends to hold its form and its colour with less attention than the alternatives. The gold-tone hardware completes the piece without complication: the CC turn-lock and chain warm the black without softening it.
