A peça em detalhe
A Birkin 25 in Feu Niloticus Crocodile with palladium hardware — one of the most concentrated expressions of what Hermès does when it works without compromise. Square R stamp, unworn condition. Within the Birkin family, the 25 is the format chosen when precision matters more than capacity. It holds the essentials with no excess, sits close to the body and reads as intentional rather than simply portable. In crocodile, the scale of the 25 is exactly right: the tile pattern resolves cleanly across the panels, nothing feels crowded, and the structure of the silhouette is reinforced rather than overwhelmed by the material. It is the size reached for by those who know what they need and nothing more. Feu is the French word for fire, and on Niloticus crocodile it does not read as costume. The colour sits somewhere between a deep tangerine and a true flame — saturated in direct light, shifting toward amber where the scales catch at an angle. Niloticus, the Nile crocodile, is prized specifically for its tight, symmetrical scale pattern and the high-gloss finish the skin accepts so readily; on a colour this charged, that surface does not mute the tone but clarifies it, giving the orange a kind of internal luminosity that matte leather could not produce. Palladium hardware keeps the composition cool against the warmth of the skin. This piece was inspected by hand in our London workroom and verified with Entrupy. JULL holds it in unworn condition; private viewings are by appointment at our Chelsea Harbour showroom.
