How much is a Hermès Birkin 25 in the UK? In October 2026 a new Birkin 25 in Togo or Epsom costs from about £20,000 to £25,500 on the secondary market, depending on colour and hardware. Toile and Swift editions sit around £35,000 to £57,000, Niloticus crocodile from about £33,000, matte alligator from about £60,000, and a Himalaya at the very top. The table above is counted from our own London stock today, and every bag in it is in the Birkin 25 gallery.
Boutique price against the price you can pay
UK boutique retail for a Birkin 25 in Togo is roughly £10,000 in 2026. The catch is that the boutique does not sell it on request: the Birkin 25 is the most allocated size Hermès makes, offered to clients with a purchase history, and the colour is rarely the client's to choose. The secondary price is the price of choosing the exact leather, colour and hardware and carrying the bag this week. Why there is no list to join is explained in Hermès quota bags explained.

What moves the price
Colour. Black and Gold are the most requested and sit a little above Etoupe or a seasonal colour of the same year. A black Birkin 25 is the bag we are asked for most often.
Leather. Togo is forgiving and slouches slightly; Epsom keeps its shape and its colour. The difference in price is small, the difference in character is not. Our Togo, Epsom and Clemence guide compares them side by side.
Hardware. Gold and palladium trade within a few hundred pounds of each other. Choose the one you will wear; our hardware guide explains how each wears.
Condition and stamp. A new bag with this year's stamp is at the top of each row. Earlier stamps in unworn condition are often where the value is. What each grade means is in Hermès condition grades explained.
Is the 25 the right size?
The Birkin 25 holds a phone, a wallet, keys and a small pouch, and it suits a smaller frame or a bag carried in the hand. If you carry a laptop or a full day's things, the Birkin 30 is the everyday size, and today it is often the same price or less. The full comparison is in the Birkin size guide, and every 30 is in the Birkin 30 gallery.

On the secondary market, from about £20,000 to £25,500 for a new Birkin 25 in Togo or Epsom, from about £33,000 for crocodile and from about £60,000 for alligator. The live table on this page is counted from our stock every day.
What is the boutique price of a Birkin 25?
Roughly £10,000 in Togo at a UK boutique in 2026, but it is offered only to established clients and cannot be bought on request.
Why does a Birkin 25 cost more than a Birkin 30?
Demand for the smaller size has run ahead of supply for several years, and Hermès makes it in limited numbers. Size for size, the 25 is the Birkin most buyers are waiting for.
Is a black Birkin 25 more expensive?
Usually by a few hundred to about two thousand pounds against the same bag in Etoupe or a seasonal colour. Black and Gold are the two colours that always find a buyer.
Can I see a Birkin 25 before I buy it?
Yes. Every bag can be seen at our Chelsea Harbour showroom by appointment, seven days a week, or on a live video call before any payment.
