A Kelly 25 in Gold Epsom with palladium hardware — one of the most requested configurations the house produces, and one of the hardest to encounter unworn. Brand new condition. Within Hermès, the Kelly occupies a distinct position: a structured, single-handle silhouette that predates the Birkin by decades and carries a different set of associations entirely. The 25 is the smallest of the standard sizes, worn as often on the arm as by the handle, and it moves between a formal dinner and a considered daytime wardrobe without adjustment. It is the version chosen by those who want the full architecture of the model in a scale that remains precise rather than imposing. Gold in Epsom reads as a deep, warm amber — closer to old cognac than to yellow, with enough brown in its base to ground it. Epsom is a fine-grained, densely structured leather that holds its shape with very little maintenance; it resists marking well and takes colour with a consistency that makes it one of the better grounds for a shade this specific. In this tone, the grain catches light evenly, giving the surface a quiet richness without any softness or slump.
