The Hermès Tablier Sellier in Noir Hunter/Swift/Toile with gold hardware is one of the most architecturally distinctive saddle-bag pieces in the maison's recent atelier output. Year K stamp, preloved condition. The Tablier Sellier is among the most direct expressions of Hermès's saddlery heritage in contemporary leather goods. The silhouette descends from the traditional saddle blanket (tablier), reimagined as a structured shoulder bag. Its construction is uniquely complex, combining Hunter saddle leather (a heavy vegetable-tanned saddle calfskin), Swift (the soft milled calfskin), and Toile (the iconic Hermès natural canvas) into a single sculptural form. Each material occupies a specific structural and visual role. In Noir (black), the multi-material construction reads as quietly graphic — the Hunter providing structural anchor, the Swift offering soft surface character, the Toile contributing textural contrast.
