The Depeches is Hermès' understated document holder — a slim, briefcase-adjacent piece named after the French for *dispatches*, and built for the client who carries paper, a slim laptop or an iPad through their working day. In Black Togo with palladium hardware, it becomes the quiet, correct answer to *what does a Hermès man carry to a private-office meeting*. Togo on the Depeches is a considered choice. The pebbled Bull calfskin softens fractionally over its first month of use, allowing the flat construction to settle against the body when carried under the arm. Palladium hardware — the twin turn-lock and the flat handle stitching — punctuates the bag with cool white metal against the deep black leather. Internally the Depeches carries a slim laptop up to fourteen inches, a leather folio, a fountain pen case and personal effects. The construction is fully saddle-stitched by hand — visible along the base and side seams — and the interior finishing includes the signature Hermès goatskin lining in a matched tonal register. Stamped G and store fresh. The palladium plaques are unscratched, the handles show no darkening from carry, and the corners are structurally held to original geometry.
