Black Epsom with palladium hardware and a lime interior: a Mini Kelly presented in one of the most considered colourways the house has produced in recent years. G stamp, store fresh condition. Few silhouettes in the Hermès canon carry the weight of the Kelly, and the Mini distils that history into its most concentrated form. Worn structured in the hand or tucked under the arm, it moves between a formal lunch and an evening without asking permission. Those who reach for it tend to know exactly what they are doing. Black in Epsom is the utilitarian answer to a very specific question: what does a bag look like when nothing about its surface is negotiable? Epsom is a pressed, fine-grained calfskin that holds its shape with unusual discipline and resists marking in daily use. Black here is not merely neutral — it is conclusive. The lime interior introduces the only moment of disclosure the piece offers; it appears only when the bag is opened, which is precisely the point. Palladium hardware sits in cool, restrained register against the black Epsom, neither competing nor receding.
