This is the pinnacle of the Hermès fine-jewellery Chaîne d'Ancre family — the diamond Kelly Gavroche double ring, a rare high-jewellery piece that combines two of the maison’s most storied codes in a single object. The anchor-chain link, drawn by Robert Dumas in the 1930s, meets the Kelly-inspired scarf-ring silhouette, worn across two fingers as a double ring and paved throughout with diamonds set in solid 18-karat yellow gold. It is sculptural, architectural and genuinely rare: pieces at this level are made in tiny numbers, sold quietly through the maison’s jewellery salons, and almost never appear on the secondary market in unworn condition. On the hand it is a statement in the truest sense — the kind of object that reads as contemporary art as readily as jewellery, catching light with every movement while remaining unmistakably Hermès to anyone who knows the vocabulary.
