A second Kelly Doll in Orange and Ébène Gulliver leather with gold hardware — Square D stamp, very good preloved condition — currently available through JULL's direct global trade network. Each Kelly Doll is essentially a unique piece, the two-tone colourblock and the orientation of the figure-like silhouette varying subtly across the small annual production runs. This particular example shows a particularly even colour transition along the front face, with the warm Orange catching daylight to the deeper Ébène brown spine. Gulliver leather — a revived 1960s/70s vegetable-tanned smooth calfskin — carries both colours with extraordinary depth; the Orange reads warm and richly saturated, the Ébène deep, almost mahogany. With gold hardware in warm yellow tone, this variant is more classical than the palladium edition: gold reinforces Gulliver's vintage character and the warm-toned palette. The Kelly Doll silhouette — the Kelly body imagined as an anthropomorphic figure, with strap loops as arms and turn-lock as face — is one of Hermès's most beloved conceptual special editions, originally designed by Pierre Hardy. Production is measured in single-digit annual numbers; the model regularly outperforms estimate at major evening sales.
