K (2025)

The Kelly Mini in shiny porosus crocodile is the most exotic interpretation of the most allocated Kelly size currently in production. Year K (2025) stamp, store-fresh condition. Crocodylus porosus — saltwater crocodile — is the rarest and most highly prized of the three exotic skin species Hermès works with, distinguished by its remarkably symmetrical bony scales and proportions. In the shiny finish, each scale is individually polished by hand, creating the lacquered light-play that distinguishes Hermès porosus from any other exotic leather on the luxury market. The Black colourway is the canonical reference for shiny porosus production — the dye penetrates each scale evenly, and the result has the depth and reflectivity of polished obsidian. The Kelly Mini (also called Kelly II Mini) was reintroduced in 2018 after a decades-long hiatus and immediately became one of Hermès's most allocated pieces — in exotic skin, with palladium hardware, this configuration sits firmly in the rarefied tier of grail-level bags. Carried by top handle, by shoulder strap or by detachable strap cross-body, the 22cm silhouette transitions effortlessly from day to evening. Palladium hardware in cool white-platinum tone provides high-contrast counterpoint to the deep black scales — the canonical hardware pairing for black porosus. Sourced through JULL's direct global trade network. CITES documentation, original box, raincoat, dust bag, clochette, lock, keys and ribbon included Hand-inspected London workroom; private viewing by appointment in our Knightsbridge showroom.
