Blue Zephyr is one of the maison’s most fleeting pastels — a whisper of sky blue with the faintest grey undertone, produced only in occasional seasons and rarely offered on the Mini Kelly. Named for the gentlest of winds, the shade brings an unexpected softness to the most coveted silhouette in the house’s repertoire, the 20-centimetre Kelly II Mini that has waiting lists stretching years at the boutique. Here it is rendered in Epsom, the pressed calfskin whose fine, even grain holds the Kelly’s sharp architecture perfectly and shrugs off the marks of daily life, framed by palladium hardware that keeps the palette cool and contemporary. The scale is diminutive but the presence is not: phone, cards and lipstick slip inside, the removable strap converts it from top-handle to crossbody, and the colour reads as neutral against everything from cream tailoring to denim.
