The Touch series is Hermès' most technically demanding contemporary construction — a Mini Kelly II built by grafting a strip of exotic skin onto the body of a smooth leather bag, so the flap, gusset or trim reads as a jewel-panel against a matte ground. This piece pairs Etoupe Madame calfskin with a Chai matte alligator flap, and the two neutral browns interlock rather than compete. Etoupe has been Hermès' quiet signature neutral since the late 2000s — a warm elephant-grey with a hint of taupe, easier to style than pure grey and softer than beige. Madame is a smooth, semi-structured calfskin with a subtle grain, historically used for smaller Kellys where crisp corners matter. Chai is a warm brown alligator, matte-finished, its scales muted to a suede-like texture. Palladium closure, sangles and clochette pull the two shades into cool alignment. At 20 cm this is a decorative Mini, worn cross-body on the included strap or carried by the top handle. A phone, cardholder, keys and a lipstick — the Mini Kelly's classic capacity. The Touch series routinely trades above resale on secondary markets because the exotic pairing is discontinued at Hermès after each season. Stamped G and store fresh.
