Mauve Sylvestre — 'forest mauve' or 'wild mauve' — is a recent Hermès colour: a soft, smoke-tinged dusty purple-grey that reads as both calm and quietly modern. It carries undertones of pale violet, muted lavender and dove-grey, with the saturation kept deliberately low so the colour reads as atmospheric rather than declarative. It is among the most considered colours in the current Hermès palette — the kind of shade that rewards close attention.
