A Kelly 25 in a two-colour composition of Rose Extrême and Anémone, finished in Epsom leather with gold hardware. Compact and precisely structured, it arrives in unworn condition — carried by no one, showing nothing. Year Y stamp, unworn condition. Within the Hermès canon the Kelly occupies a position unlike any other silhouette: formally dressed yet adaptable, rigid enough to hold its architecture through decades of use. The 25 is the smallest of the standard sizes, and that scale is a deliberate choice rather than a compromise. It suits the woman who wants the full ceremony of the turn-lock and the leather-wrapped handle without the bag making decisions about the day on her behalf. It crosses from a working morning to an evening with no adjustment required. Rose Extrême is a clear, warm pink — closer to a saturated fuchsia than a pastel, with enough blue in its base to read as modern rather than sweet. Anémone sits beside it as the deeper note: a rich, saturated purple with violet undertones that in certain lights pulls almost aubergine. On Epsom, which is cross-grain pressed to a fine, consistent texture, both colours read with particular crispness. The leather holds its hue without shifting; what you see in the showroom is what the bag will look like in ten years. Gold hardware — the turn-lock, the handle attachment, the base hardware — sits warmly against both tones, pulling the warmth from the pink rather than amplifying the cool of the purple. This piece was inspected by hand in our London workroom and verified with Entrupy. JULL holds it now; private viewings are by appointment at our Chelsea Harbour showroom.
