Hermès's Kelly Cut in Black Epsom with gold hardware is a clutch that asks nothing of its owner beyond a sure sense of occasion. Structured, flat and immediately legible, it carries the name of its parent silhouette while occupying an entirely different register. G stamp, brand new condition. The Kelly Cut sits at the formal end of the Hermès evening canon. Where the Kelly bag is built around a handle and a lock that takes a moment to open, this piece is designed for a hand or a wrist, for rooms where bags are held rather than set down. It is the choice when the occasion has a dress code and the bag must speak at the same level as everything else. Black in Epsom behaves with particular precision.
