K stamp, brand new condition. The Kelly Cut draws its name from the house's most iconic silhouette but resolves it into an entirely different object. Where the Kelly is a structured handbag built around a turn-lock and a handle, this piece strips the architecture back to a slim, envelope-form clutch. It is made for evenings and occasions where the bag is itself a statement rather than a vessel, carried in the hand or tucked under the arm. The clientele who reach for it tend to know their Hermès well — this is not a first piece, it is a considered one. Doré translates literally as gilded, and on Chamkilight Chèvre the name earns its keep. Chamkilight is a treated goat skin given a metallic surface finish, and in Doré that finish reads as warm, liquid gold — deeper than champagne, less brash than yellow gold, with a slight variation in depth as the leather moves in light.
