The Kelly Mini Picnic in Jaune de Naples Swift leather and woven wicker with palladium hardware is one of the most charming and most coveted Kelly variations of the past decade. Year B (2023) stamp, store-fresh condition. The Picnic Kelly fuses the maison's saddlery heritage with traditional French Auvergne wicker-weaving. The body is constructed from natural straw wicker hand-woven by artisans in the Auvergne region of central France, dyed to harmonise with Hermès's natural leather palette. Swift leather — a soft, milled calfskin with a satin-smooth surface and remarkable colour saturation — forms the handles, sangles, lining and base trim. Jaune de Naples is the gentle, butter-warm Neapolitan yellow that Hermès revived in recent collections — named for the historical pigment used by Italian Renaissance painters. It is brighter than Beurre Frais but softer than Soleil, sitting in the perfect register for spring and summer evening use. Against natural wicker, the colour evokes a Mediterranean afternoon — wisteria and lemon groves. The Kelly Mini proportion is currently the most allocated Kelly size in production. In Picnic construction, available in only single-digit annual numbers, it sits near the apex of recent Hermès desirability. Palladium hardware preserves the colour's brightness.
