Carried by hand or worn on the shoulder with its accompanying strap, it is a piece built for daily life without concession to practicality over appearance. W stamp, 2025, brand new condition. Kelly 20 occupies a particular position in the Hermès canon. Smaller than the classic Kelly yet identical in its architecture and formal vocabulary, it was designed to hold exactly what a day or an evening requires and nothing more. The silhouette is structured and upright; the turn-lock closure and the geometry of the form read clearly at a distance. It is the version reached for by those who want the full weight of the design without the volume of the larger sizes. Vert Vertigo is a green of genuine complexity — cool and saturated, sitting somewhere between sage and a deep eucalyptus, with an interior luminosity that shifts under different light. Epsom is the leather that suits it best: the tight, cross-hatched grain holds colour with unusual fidelity, and the slight rigidity of the hide means the bag retains its exact shape over years of use.
