The Kelly Dépêches Colormatic is Hermès at its most quietly playful: the house's document pouch, borrowed from the men's universe and reworked as a clutch you can carry with nothing but a wrist. This example arrives in Bleu Hydra Evercolor, a deep aquatic blue with a fine, even grain, cut through by a Noir zip pocket on the front and finished with a Fauve tab that catches the eye the way a well-chosen accent should. The palette is Hermès' own Colormatic composition, so the three shades were designed together rather than assembled after the fact. Evercolor is a calfskin developed for exactly this kind of piece. It takes colour with unusual depth, holds a crisp edge on the flap, and resists the surface wear a clutch inevitably meets in daily use. Palladium hardware keeps the mood cool: the Kelly turnlock and sangles sit flat against the flap, the zip pull on the front pocket carries the house's H, and the removable wrist strap loops through a discreet ring at the side. Inside, the structure is simple and purposeful. A single main compartment takes a passport, a phone and a slim wallet, while the exterior zip pocket keeps keys or cards within reach without opening the flap. Carried by the strap it reads as a modern clutch; slipped under the arm it is a document holder with a Kelly signature. This piece is store fresh, with blind stamp U for 2022, and comes with its original receipt, dust bag and box. Bleu Hydra in a Colormatic combination is not a colourway Hermès repeats often, and pieces with this particular Noir and Fauve pairing have become difficult to source.
