Hermès lizard at its most considered arrives here in Ombré, worked into the Kelly Pochette — a piece that lives as an evening bag, a collector's object, and an argument for restraint all at once. Palladium hardware. Z stamp, brand new condition. Within the Kelly family the Pochette occupies a precise position: it is the silhouette distilled to its evening function, scaled to hold what an evening actually requires. The structured front flap, the turn-lock, the single top handle — all the hallmarks are present, but the format demands nothing of the day. It is the version reached for by those who know the house well enough to own something specific rather than something general. Ombré on lizard is a different proposition to Ombré on calf. The dye graduates — typically from a deeper, more saturated tone at the base to a lighter, almost bleached register at the flap — but the scaled surface of the lizard interrupts that gradient into something faceted and dimensional.
