A Kelly Sellier 25 in black Epsom with palladium hardware — one of the most considered configurations the house produces, and a bag that functions as a permanent fixture rather than a seasonal choice. Year K stamp, store fresh condition. The Sellier construction holds the Kelly's silhouette at its most architectural: edges sharp, flanks flat, the whole form self-supporting rather than relaxed. At 25 centimetres, the bag sits in the range where structure and practicality are best balanced — capacious enough for a day's essentials, compact enough to remain elegant through an evening. It is the version most often reached for by those who want the Kelly read clearly, without negotiation. Black in Epsom is about as resolved as a colour-and-leather pairing becomes. Epsom is a fine, densely grained calf that holds its form under daily use and takes dye with particular evenness, meaning the black here is consistent across every panel — no variation in depth, no undertone pulling towards navy or brown. In direct light the grain catches slightly; in softer settings it reads as a clean, unbroken surface. The Hermès Kelly 25 in Black Epsom measures about 25 cm wide, 17 cm high and 9 cm deep. It is made in Epsom, an embossed calfskin with a fine, regular grain: light, rigid and easy to keep clean. The hardware is palladium-plated, a cool silver tone, on the turn-lock, padlock, keys and feet. The Kelly Sellier has a single rolled top handle and a detachable shoulder strap, flap and straps closing on a turn-lock, clochette with padlock and two keys, four protective feet; inside it is lined in matching chèvre goatskin, with one zipped pocket and one open slip pocket. Blind stamp K dates it to 2026.
