The Mini Kelly Noir in Chèvre Mysore with lizard-trim detailing and palladium hardware is a study in textural contrast applied to the most allocated Kelly proportion. Year K (2025) production stamp, store-fresh condition. Chèvre Mysore is one of Hermès's most beloved leathers — a goat hide tanned to develop a natural grain that is at once lightweight, scratch-resistant and remarkably durable. Its surface has a particular character: a fine, almost crystalline pebbling that catches light in shifting micro-patterns. In black (noir), the leather reads as something between matte and lustrous, with subtle highlights along the high points of the grain. The lizard trim — applied along stress points or as accent detailing depending on the model variant — introduces the exotic register at a quieter scale. Lizard scales are tiny and densely-packed, producing a finely-stippled surface that contrasts beautifully with Chèvre's larger, irregular pebbling. The combination is one of Hermès's signature material dialogues. Mini Kelly proportion (22cm) is the most allocated Kelly size in current production.
