The Hermès Tablier Sellier in Gold Hunter/Swift/Toile with palladium hardware is a heritage-architecture saddle bag in the historic Birkin honey-tan. Year K stamp, preloved condition. The Tablier Sellier descends directly from Hermès's saddlery heritage: a contemporary shoulder bag rendered through the technical vocabulary of the traditional saddle blanket. The multi-material construction combines Hunter saddle leather (a heavy vegetable-tanned calfskin), Swift (the soft milled calfskin), and Toile (the iconic Hermès natural canvas) into a single sculptural form. Gold is the warm honey-tan that has been part of the Hermès palette since the original 1984 Birkin commission, and it pairs particularly naturally with the saddlery context of the Tablier Sellier — the colour itself originating in equestrian leatherwork. On Hunter saddle leather, Gold reads with particular depth and quietly luminous warmth. Palladium hardware in cool white-platinum tone provides contemporary counterpoint to the warm leather palette.
