The Birkin 25 in black Veau Volupté with palladium hardware is one of the most textural and contemporary Birkin 25s in current production. Year G stamp, store-fresh condition. Veau Volupté — 'pleasure calf' — is a relatively recent addition to the Hermès leather repertoire: a soft, almost suede-touch matte calfskin engineered for absorbent texture rather than reflective gloss. It reads as cool and quietly luxurious, with a tactile character that distinguishes it from grained leathers like Togo or printed ones like Epsom. In black, Veau Volupté produces a deep absorbent register, reading as the deepest possible black on a smooth-touch surface. The Birkin 25 is currently the most over-allocated Birkin proportion in production. Palladium hardware in cool white-platinum tone is the canonical pairing with the cool matte register of Veau Volupté — the entire palette stays architectural and modern.
