The Birkin 25 in Rouge Vif Togo with palladium hardware is one of the most striking saturated-red Birkin 25s in current production. Year Y stamp, excellent preloved condition. Rouge Vif — 'vivid red' — is among the most modern reds in Hermès's contemporary palette: a clear, fully saturated true red without the brown undertones of Rouge H or the warm orange tint of Rouge Coeur. It is the colour reached for when an unequivocal pure red is wanted, and is among the most photogenic colours in the maison's current production. On Togo's pebbled grain, the red gains particular depth, with the high points of the grain refracting light to give the surface visible dimensional warmth. Togo is the most beloved everyday Birkin leather: scratch-resistant, beautifully patinating, with embossed pebbled scoring that lends visual depth. The Birkin 25 is currently the most over-allocated Birkin proportion in the maison's production.
