Terre Cuite — 'cooked earth' — is the sun-baked terracotta-orange that has become one of the most beloved warm colours in the current Hermès exotic palette, evoking patinated rooftops and unglazed Mediterranean ceramic. Hermès ostrich comes from a single accredited South African farm under the maison's own welfare and traceability standards; each skin spends twelve to eighteen months in the tannery.
