The Birkin 35 in Rouge Casaque ostrich with palladium hardware is among the most theatrical exotic Birkin 35s in the maison's recent production. Square J stamp, excellent preloved condition. Rouge Casaque — 'racing-silks red' — is one of the most saturated and theatrical reds in the Hermès palette: a hot, almost siren-bright crimson named for the jockey silks worn at major flat racing events. It is a colour reserved for collectors who want a piece that reads as a statement object. On ostrich, where each follicle takes the dye independently, the red gains particular depth and micro-variation — the quill bumps almost lit from within. Hermès ostrich comes from a single accredited South African farm operating under the maison's own welfare and traceability standards. Each skin requires twelve to eighteen months of preparation. The Birkin 35 is the larger of the two original Birkin proportions, designed for true day-and-travel capacity.
