Bleu Baltique is one of the deeper, more contemplative blues in the Hermès colour library — a marine tone that reads almost black in low light and reveals its full oceanic depth only when sunlight catches it. Rendered in shiny alligator, that quality is amplified considerably: each scale behaves like a small lacquered mirror, so the bag shifts continuously between ink, navy and a luminous mid-blue as it moves. The Kelly 25 is the size that has come to define modern demand for the silhouette.
