Ask a room of serious collectors to name the definitive exotic Birkin and most will give the same answer: black matte alligator. It is the configuration that inverts the usual logic of rarity — no colour, no gloss, no announcement — leaving only scale, structure and the certainty of what it is. On the 25, the house's most contemporary proportion, the effect intensifies: a small, dense object of perfectly repeating geometry, closer to haute joaillerie than to a handbag.
