Hermès has been putting studs on leather since the 1920s, when its famous dog collars first crossed from kennel to wrist — and the Medor pyramid stud remains the sharpest edge in the house's vocabulary. The Mini Medor mounts that heritage on a jewel-box clutch: a compact flap clutch crowned with the signature pyramid studs, part evening bag, part objet. In Nata — the house's milk-white cream, named for the Portuguese custard — the contrast becomes the entire story: the gentlest colour in the palette wearing the toughest hardware. Palladium studs on cream read as pearls with attitude. It is bridal with a raised eyebrow, black-tie with a secret. Epsom leather keeps the little architecture strict and light, its fine grain resisting marks that would show first on a pale piece. Small, studded and quietly subversive, it is carried to dinner in the hand or tucked under the arm, holding cards, lipstick and a folded note with room to spare for nothing — which is the point. Against winter black the cream lifts an entire outfit; beside summer linen it disappears into elegance. The Mini Medor appears in short seasonal runs and has developed a devoted following among collectors of the maison's jewellery-adjacent leather pieces; pale colourways are the briefest visitors of all. It is the rare Hermès clutch that can own a room without a single logo in sight. Our example is store fresh with the blind stamp K, immaculate to the tip of every stud. It has been examined and authenticated by our specialists in-house. See it by appointment at our Knightsbridge showroom, or ask our personal shoppers to reserve it and arrange worldwide insured delivery for your next evening in its company.
